My oldest friend,  Jennifer, organized a Benefit 5k for Love146 and she asked me to do the t-shirts. It’s a bad picture, but you get the gist:

I found the scarf I was looking for all winter, right in time to where I don’t need it unless for the purpose of style:

I went to my mom’s class during my Spring Break and showed the students how to screen print. We were able to make everyone their own one-of-a-kind Art Club shirts:

And then there was the Jason Peters exhibit at the OKCOMA that was absolutely incredible. The pictures don’t do it justice and I wish I could’ve gone every day during the showing:

I visited mi madre at her sweet little studio apartment thingy:

Went to the RINK Gallery in Bethany and found some pretty nifty things for my new casa:

And last but not least: I’m teaching Lacey how to sew

This is my Bee and I love him. I always have and I always will.

But you see, most of the time I never showed him.

I made a mistake one time,

in telling him I didn’t want to hear

the good things he had to say about me so often,

and in turn, I found myself telling him less and less

of the good things about him.

My Bee is smart, he gets good marks

and he’s the best student in his French class.

His passion for things is incredible

and I have been so lucky to see

the light in his eyes and the joy

on his face when he would

show me these things.

He would be a fine doctor,

or teacher,

or artist,

or writer,

or hula dancer,

or astronaut,

or anything that he ever wanted to be.

My Bee is sweet, and caring, a good friend.

My Bee is stylish, although he doesn’t know it,

he has the best style I have ever seen.

My Bee honors his parents,

and that’s a commandment.

My Bee does not watch TV,

so he has more time to be free.

My Bee writes amazing things,

and he puts all the right verbs next to all the right nouns,

and he makes a sentence and then another,

and before long he’s talking so profound.

My Bee has curly hair:

not too long and not too short.

My Bee likes good music and he wants to tell you why.

“You’ve been talking, I’ve been all ears. Omerta.”

My Bee is patient,

kind.

He does not envy,

or boast.

He is not proud,

nor is he rude.

Most of all, when my Bee would hold me,

I wasn’t afraid.

The dark didn’t seem to be what it

is in its own name,

and all the bad thoughts in my head

would just go away.

And his breath on my neck,

and his hand in mine,

is what lulled me to sleep,

and gave me good dreams.

I could tell me Bee anything,

and not feel ashamed.

For the things that are most unpleasant in my life,

are what he wants me to claim.

My Bee helped me be strong,

and to be a better person.

My Bee has taught me how to love my sister

and to be patient with my mother.

My Bee. My sweet, precious Bee.

My Bee is loving and he always told me.

My Bee is sweet and he always showed me.

My Bee is everything that I have ever wanted,

and I never told him.

This is my Bee and I love him.

I’ve been busy keeping the medical world on their toes. So I’ve been a stranger to this and others (sorrrrry). I will now be employed by painting faces of little children at parties and (hopefully) selling homemade goodies (buy them, please! I like eating).

I’m going to start another page on this for a mock shop sort of thing. Not exactly sure how it’s going to work, but it’ll work, I promise!

In the mean time and between time, feel free to shot some ideas this way of something you would want on a folder that you would keep your papers in for school. Along with other ideas, like if you were to buy a set of coasters, what would you want on them? Got the idea? MMMk!

So as usual, time to play catch up.

Roughly several weeks ago, Shicka and I (plus other people) attended a pot-luck where Shicka demonstrated that she sucks at chewing gum:

Then…Denzel-AlwaysupintheGriffith-Washington-Maxwell pied her in the face:

Then, later that week, it was my birthday. Bee stayed up all night with me while I made a skirt to wear for my birthday diner, and after I was done, he took me to the parking garage elevator where he wrote this note for me:

Shicka and I went to Taylor’s to eat some unimpressive white chocolate brownies:

Later that night, Bee and I went to OKC to meet up with my family to have my birthday dinner at P.F. Chang’s:

Then, Halloween night was the OSU vs. Texas as the Temple of Boone. Bee and I had an urge for turkey legs and we succeeded in our mission:
